We had alot of friends come and they brought ALOT of gifts. Fin enjoyed opening them so much and she will enjoy playing with, riding on, sitting on, and wearing them as well! Most of all, we appreciated all of support and joy for us that the people there had given through this arduous (and ultimately worthwhile!) process.

Fin and Lorna

How exciting! There are two other adopted, Chinese daughters in the congregation I work for. Though they have been here for a couple of years, they are about Fin's age. I hope they can show her the ropes!

Hannah (babysitter and photographer extraordinaire!) about to have her cake devoured by Fin

Finally, CAKE! (It's hard to wait when it's a Raheema cake!)

Referencing back to yesterday's post, this is a mini-recliner from Nancy and Lorna. Now, truth be told, if Fin had this last night and she was reared back watching the race with her sippy cup in the drink holder... there is NO WAY she was being sent to bed!
